Volunteers and Interns

Do you love nature?  Do you sharing what you know about nature?  Audubon needs your help!  The dedicated volunteers make our mission possible. Volunteering at an Audubon facility can be a great way to get involved with your community, and have an adventure with memories that last a lifetime.

We're always looking for friendly people of all ages to help us tell the story of our animals.  You can volunteer as a diver at the Aquarium or help people understand what's so great about bugs at the new Insectarium.

Opportunities are available for volunteers of all ages at any of the Audubon facilities.  Learn more about and find out how you can get involved.

Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and Entergy IMAX® Theatre are open, but our future is by no means guaranteed. As a not-for-profit organization with family attractions that have been top destinations for Louisiana visitors, we face a challenging time while our city's residents return home and our tourism industry rebuilds. Every gift, at any level, helps our recovery take root and is greatly appreciated.
